World of Warcraft Guides: Fishing Guide For Midlevel Characters
Everyone has their own unique way of doing things in-game and this is just another FANTASTIC guide from Sheytan who has put this to the test.
I have noticed several guides online for fishing.
Most have been for high level characters fishing in places you can't reasonably get to until your level 50+.
This is done from the perspective of a level 31 horde character.
There is alot of money to be made in fishing.
Maybe not as fast as other professions but steady income with just 30 minutes to an hour of your playing time.
It is also one of the cheapest professions to make money with.
I also recommend getting your cooking skill up as you get your fishing skill up.
First, you should go to a fishing trainer in your city.
I suggest fishing in the waters there because it is safe, no threat of anything attacking while you are leveling up your fishing skill.
Thunder Bluff has a pond, Org has a pond and you can fish in the sewers of Undercity.
At this time I suggest either buying a fishing enchant to your gloves or investing a few silver in a fishing pole that will give you +fishing.
The following is a list of fish and where to find them.
(WC has more drops of the Deviates but it is dangerous to fish these waters.
World of Warcraft Guides: Farming Locations
Here I have compiled a list of different locations where I have found to be the best to farm for items at.
If you can add anything please let me know either by the Forum or by e-mailing webmaster [at] freewarcraftguides [dot] com.
They can be caught in any of the pools inside the Caverns before you get to the instance..
-The fish can also be caught in Lushwater Oasis, immediately south of the Caverns and in the Stagnant Oasis, south of the Crossroads/Ratchet road.
Furthermore there will now occasionally be schools of Deviates so your drop rate is 100% if your cast lands within the swirl indicating the school.
No mobs actually have a high drop rate of this and these are all non elite and very easy to kill.
Also they drop breath of wind etc which can be sold or used.
I'm not sure but I bet this is one of the best places to farm for this.
These mobs also have a very high drop rate of runecloth and are camped by gold farmers or used to be I believe.
These are found in Feralas, Maraudon, Hinterlands and also drop of Tar Lords in Un'Goro.
Stones are used in Cloak of Warding and sell for 3.5-5 gold a piece .
-From beasts of the same name in searing gorge.
