Hi Robert! I spent last holidays in Nicaragua and I went to the islands (Little and Big Corn Island) during the last part of the journey.
Unfortunately I can't give you any information about fishing trips, but I know that in Little Corn Island you'll find Casa Iguana's Diving Center and I think you'll be able to arrange your trip.
If you decide to spend some days in Big Corn Island, I can give you some advice to find a very good and not expensive accomodation in "The Diving Center", hold by a very nice American couple that I'm sure will help you to enjoy your holiday.

It makes a wonderful base to explore the south-eastern corner of Sicily and if you like the beach, Marina di Ragusa is no more than 1.5 km away.
La Roverella is situated in a peaceful location on an Organic Farm, yet conveniently close to Marina di Ragusa, with its shops and restaurants.
The villa is comfortable, relaxing and exceedingly well equipped.
The large swimming pool and gardens were excellent and the shaded verandah was wonderful for outdoor dining or just relaxing.
Location is excellent - 3kms from Marina di Ragusa, 10 minutes from excellent and new Alis supermarket and 5 minutes from glorious unspolit beach at river Irminio nature reserve.
Good base for day trips to Modica, Sicli, Ragusa Ibla, Noto and Siracusa.
Het zwembad is heerlijk en door de warmte hard nodig.
De aankleding van de woningen is smaakvol.
It was spotlessly clean on arrival with a plentiful supply of bedding and towels.
The best thing about La Roverella is the fantastic swimming pool and pleasant garden surroundings.
The setting was peaceful and we were very close to the town of Marina Di Ragusa and the beach but would recommend a hire car to explore southern Siciliy.
The swimming pool and surrounding gardens were excellent and very well maintained.

The Tivoli Almansor hotel is located 60km west of Faro Airport, in the picturesque fishing village of Praia do Carvoeiro.

Lagoa's main church, a XVIth century building, of which only a Manueline doorway exists, was rebuilt towards the end of the XVIIIth century.
23km from the Tivoli Almansor, Lagos was formerly the capital of the southern part of the Iberian Peninsula, and was the last port before the Portuguese caravelas set off for their long sea journeys, during the great Discoveries of the 16th century.

We got a good deal via Go Travel Direct and it was all-inclusive.
We chose our own seats and apparantly this makes getting boarding passes a tad quicker.
It was clean, always well kept daily by the maid (our lovely maid was Gemma), and we didnt smell anything that concerned us.
We were very impressed with our room and the bathroom was cleaner than the one we left here at home, so, I mean, heck! The mini fridge came in handy, as did the room safe and the air conditioning.
I plan to take my kids with us next year and before we left, we made a point of casing out some rooms and recording room numbers so next year, we may be all set and wont have any problems with the rooms.
It is in a large air conditioned phone booth.
Beats trying to use that sardine can down the strip.
I heard it was cheaper to do it at the airport, but we didnt.
We had better things to do than to stand in a bank line up....we do that here in Canada often enough! We did a little bit at a time.
Only take Canadian money, US $ is not taken anywhere, not even as tips, so we were told.
We never used our credit card either, and we did not take travellers cheques.
'Hollywood' cigarettes are similar to Canadian ones, the rest of the brands will take your lungs apart.
