We also believe it is irresponsible of designers, manufacturers and distributors to sell kits to the general public which do not contain air pumps, which are critical for the survival of these pets or comprehensive instructions such as are found in the official Sea-Monkey Handbook..

gemal.dk - New SeaMonkey Logo
The SeaMonkey project is a community effort to deliver production-quality releases of code derived from the application formerly known as 'Mozilla Application Suite'..
Comment by Chris Cunningham at December 5, 2005 08:27 PM | Permalink Attack of the Firefox fanboy! I guess it's encouraging that people like him see SeaMonkey as enough of a 'threat' to whine about it at every given opportunity.

gemal.dk - Mozilla Suite aka Mozilla Application Suite aka Mozilla 1.x is changing name to SeaMonkey
Note that it's spelled SeaMonkey and not Seamonkey.
'Mozilla Mail' is gonna be named 'SeaMonkey Mail' and even the executable is gonna be renamed from mozilla.exe to seamonkey.exe..
We have both 'Sea Monkey' and 'Seamonkey'.
The Mozilla Foundation has earlier announced that there won't be any more official releases of the Mozilla Application Suite now named SeaMonkey, but they will provide infrastructure for community members who wish to continue development.
SeaMonkey survival will need a new team that cares about that product and that will take over the lead for its development.
And for those of you who ask 'what is a seamonkey?' Well here's one ..

Sure, someone of the SeaMonkey Council has attached it, so you can guess where we're going.
But as long as there is no announcement by the SeaMonkey Council (and a reworked project page, which we have drafted already) you can't take this naming as official..

raise sea monkeys on 43 Things
setting out with the goal of sea monkey breeding, i have succeeded! i have induced the sea monkey love and many have paired off and swim in circles while they get their thang on:) its funny to watch—when another monkey bumps into a pair of lovers, the couple freak out and put on a little “get the hell away from us! come on, we’re makin babies here!” complete with thrashing and angry bucking.
My Sea Monkey tray is several months old and laying eggs but they need to dry out to hatch, so he’ll likely be alone for awhile..
Untitled — 8 months ago well i did get sea monkeys a week ago and they hatched and grew bigger..
until i overfed them on the 6th day then they died :( I am still in denial that they died but i want to get a new set of them and start again – i want sea monkeys as pets!.
