Joseph Area Browns and cohos are hitting along the shores of Lake Michigan.
Steelhead fishing has been slow on the St.
Kalamazoo Area Steelhead fishing has been slow on the Kalamazoo River.
Brown trout and steelhead are hitting along shore in Lake Michigan, south of the Holland Pier.
Perch fishing has been fair in the channel and off the pier in Lake Michigan.
Clair Perch fishing has been good on Lake St.
Anglers fishing minnows at Metro Beach and around Harsen's Island report good success.
Trenton Area Walleye fishing has been red hot on the Detroit River.
Luna Pier Area Walleye fishing has been fair on Lake Erie, but the recent cold spell put a damper on angler activity.
Anglers fishing minnows in 6 to 12 feet of water report good success.
Caseville Area A few walleyes are being caught in Lake Huron off Sand Point, but fishing pressure has been light.
Perch fishing has been decent at Caseville.
NORTHERN LOWER Saginaw Bay Area Perch fishing has been pretty good in front of Hoyle's Marina, off the Pine River, and off Palmer Road.
Baldwin Area Steelhead fishing has been good on the Pere Marquette River.

I actually dug out my snow plow blade and ice fishing equipment form the corner of the garage last week.
Fishing Tittabawassee River by Dan Manyen (11/19/2006) After talking to a few of my buddies who deer hunt, I'm glad I gave it up 4 years ago to spend more time on the rivers fishing.
Like I mentioned in other reports, I believe it's the combination of good numbers of natural fish and the surprising abundance of baitfish in the rivers this year.

This is absolutely the ULTIMATE time for a Cast & Blast getaway in northern Michigan.
He’s packing fly rods, shotguns and a couple of English setters for five days of blissful fishing and hunting..
Overall, I’d have to rate the fishing season as very good.
The other strange thing about this past fishing season was that the big browns took a looooong time to key in on grasshoppers.
Jim Clink and his brother, Jerry, fell madly in love with the upper Manistee a few days ago during their “Let’s Learn Fly Fishing” day on the river with me..
Chris works with the Public Broadcasting station in Lansing, and somehow Jack got him interested in A) fly fishing and B) Au Sable longboats..
11 and Chris got a wonderful introduction to fly fishing.
It was an absolutely spectacular Fall day in Michigan with leaves beginning to change color and a bite in the morning air.
Terra Ciea Bay has been fishing well, however.
Kate and I are leaving Michigan November 19, and plan to arrive in Venice the 21st.
Steelhead fishing has slowed the last few days on the lower Pere Marquette.
