He always gets Fish 'n Chips and I always get the shrimp scampi..
Well, they have gone and changed their menu on me, so when Dad ordered Fish 'n Chips, the waitress said 'We no longer carry that menu item'.
'I cannot believe that after forty years, you would take Fish 'n Chips off the menu! I will never eat here again'!.
Dad ordered Fish 'n Chips, I ordered scampi, and was right with the world..
Red Mill Fish \'n\' Chips
Taste: These are crackers shaped like fish and chips (the English kind that is, or what we Americans call 'fries').
They taste like ordinary crackers, with no real fish taste.
The picture on the bag is deceptive, as the crackers shaped like chips are in reality only slightly smaller than the ones shaped like fish, but the bag makes it look like the fish are much bigger.

In 1968, the first 'English Fish-n-Chips' franchise came to the USA, and by coincidence, opened their first pilot store three blocks from my North Columbus home.
There seemed to be lots of room for improvement in quality, and the 'cookie cutter' look of the fish.
Success came quickly with the unique batter, applied to the hand cut fish fillets that removed the fat content by 50%, while increasing the flavor and texture.
Roast beef soon took a back seat to the extremely popular random cut of fish.
People who rarely ate fish were showing up three and four times each week! Two more units were opened in 1968 and 1970.
I am in semi-retirement now, and have decided to share this incomparable and simple method of preparing the best fish fillets anyone has tasted, for a fee that anyone can afford.
