How was the Trip? Is This My Neighborhood? Concept: Habitats are distinguishable by specific characteristics and the organisms that survive there.
Have each student select one organism seen during the visit to the ocean or aquarium, draw its habitat and list its survival needs..
Who's Connected? Concept: Each organism has a niche as part of the food web, and there is an interdependence among organisms.
Discuss what animal adaptations the students were able to observe when they visited the aquarium and/or coastal areas.
Is the Seasoning Right? Concept: Living things have specific needs for survival.

News - Concept for New Songdo Ecotarium Unveiled
(IDEA), today announced concept plans for the New Songdo Ecotarium.
The New Songdo Ecotarium also provides an opportunity for joint marketing with the Incheon World Aquarium, resulting in an economic boom for Incheon..
The New Songdo Ecotarium will present a wide range of plants and animals including birds, reptiles, mammals, amphibians, invertebrates and fish, climaxing in an ocean exhibition, which will link to a larger presentation of marine underwater life at the Incheon World Aquarium (IWA), located 2.2 km away from the New Songdo Ecotarium.
IWA, expanding upon the theme, will present an aquarium focused on marine life and will provide a greater variety of marine habitats, species and specimens representing life beneath the sea..
Hynes, III, President and CEO of Gale International, said, "The combination of the New Songdo Ecotarium and the Incheon World Aquarium will provide visitors with two different and yet complementary attractions of educational, recreational and cultural value, with economic impact benefiting Incheon City.".
Chermayeff, Sollogub & Poole (CSP) will design the Ecotarium, while the development and operation will be undertaken by IDEA, international aquarium experts.
